We've heard before that Apple is going to slim down the notch of the iPhone 13 this year, and now new photos posted by trusted leakster Ice Universe give us our first look. about the iPhone 13 and its much smaller notch.
The images appear to be from a company that makes a screen protector, and it's unclear whether the device displayed accurately reflects the design of the iPhone 13. However, it's clear that the notch is now narrow. much more horizontally than before. This is best illustrated in this photo, also leaked today, of a display component.
The notch of the iPhone 13 is the same depth but narrower. Apple appears to have achieved this by moving the speaker to the bezel.
Besides a smaller notch, the iPhone 13 is expected to also offer a 120 Hz display, possibly an in-display fingerprint sensor, an upgraded camera, and a new A15 Bionic chipset.
