Everything will happen in real time even without your participation, all living creatures will try to do everything to help them survive.
You can choose to befriend a friendly species, fight alongside them, or you can attack them, steal their food or force them to leave their current habitat. All of this creates a revolving ecosystem, just like what's happening in real life!
